The year is 2397; barely 20 years removed from the Dominion threat, and the United Federation of Planets is once again at war.

After 200,000 years of dormancy, the fearsome Empire of Iconia has re-emerged, bearing with them a monstrous invasion force unlike anything the galaxy has ever seen. No longer can the Iconians be dismissed as a mere folk tale intended to scare young children; the threat they pose to the galaxy is both real and formidable. And with a vast Gateway network that allows them to strike virtually anywhere, and at any time, no one place is truly safe from their wrath.

If the Galaxy is to survive against the Iconian onslaught, they can no longer afford to stand divided, like they have allowed themselves to be in the wake of the Dominion. The choice is clear: unite… or perish.
